He has been engaged in the development of functional compounds such as color photography and OLED. Summarizing the results of these research activities, he obtained a Doctorate in Science from the Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University in 2015. From 2017, he served as a Technology Fellow (Executive Officer). Since 2024, he has held his current position. From 2018 onwards, he has led research and development incorporating machine learning and served concurrently as Chairman of the Advanced Materials Rapid Development Technology Research Association (ADMAT) from 2021 to 2023.
